dan_kim1
Has anyone tried both the Sigma 15-30mm and the Sigma 20-40mm on a Nikon? Any difference in sharpness and contrast? I know the focal lengths are different, but I was wondering what the difference was in the 20-30mm range, if any. Thanks.
scott_carlsson
I understand maybe this is not what you want to hear, but I would forget the Sigma/3rd party option and get the Nikkor 18-35. For around $500.00 USD, it really is a great lens and a great value.
soeren_engelbrecht1
The 15-30 was conceived for use on digital cameras with a smaller chip and will therefore vignette severely if used on an (analogue :-) 24x36 mm negative. The reports I've read on this even go as far as to recommend the use of a center filter behind the lens. Otherwise, they should be about the same in quality.
