blueisland
I'm interested in learning about servicing and repairing nikon lenses. (Manual Focus) I was thinking of buying some old/broken lenses very cheap which I could use to take apart and learn about the construction of the lens itself in order to clean/repair and re-build. Are there any on-line sites - manuals, that people could recomend to me?

blueisland
Thanks for the invite Lars. I have found a book called Nikon Camera Repair by T. Tomosey which looks like it could be useful. (Have you any comment on this) It would also be handy to find some sort of equivelent which deals with nikon MF lenses...any ideas?
lars
You will find Tomosy's book discussed in the archives of NikonRepair. It does include some lens repair/disassembly.
