ray .
I often see phrases which are quoted from others responses put into italics, and want to know how it's done. I tried typing my response into my Appleworks program on my computer and then transferring it to photonet, but the italics changed back to standard type... Thanks for help. ray .
Ellis, I don't know how to use html code. Could you elaborate?
kelly_flanigan1
Post a response; and choose "the above text is HTML; and not the default "Plain Text" Place what text that you want in italic between the brackets.<BR><BR> The first<i> bracket turns in on; the second </i> bracket turns it off. hal_bissinger
Ray, now that you know the basics, if you ever wonder how something is done on a page you are looking at just take a look at the source. In Windows you click the View menu at the top of the browser page then click Source. Notebook will open with the page's source code as a text file. Don't know about MACs. There are also some good tutorials on HTML out there. Just do a Google search for "HTML".
