marcin_gadomski
Hi. I've just bought Zeiss Ikon Cocarette medium format camera. Looks old but it seems to be in working condition (haven't tried yet). I wonder if anybody could give me some info about this ancient camera. Thanks a lot. art_haykin
If you don't get any informed responses, a Google.com search produced this excellent site:>>>www.pacificrimcamera.com/pp/zeiss/cocarette/coca.htm<<< and about 74 others dealing with that camera. colin carron
Dag, The Cocarette was made 1926 - 1930 by Zeiss Ikon. It was a rollfilm folder and made in any number of film formats (is yours 120?), and shutter and lens combinations. The lens ranged from the Frontar (ZI box camera technology) up to the Tessar (top of the range). Shutters ditto. there was also a swanky Luxus brown leather version.
