matt_schaefer
I'm planning on studying photography at a university next fall. After researching various schools, i've found that parsons school of design interests me the most, but on the photo.net boards it seems that it's hardly ever mentioned when schools are being discussed. I realize that the acceptance rate in lower there than at the other schools, but i was just wondering if anyone had any stories or opinions about it. How does it compare to the School of Visual Arts and Art Center College of Design? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

_________1
You should also check out Pratt Institute and Rhode Island School of Design. Art Centre requires you to finish your humanities and science electives elsewhere (usually an area community college) before they enrol you for 10!! semesters of intense photography and visual arts related subjects. In 2000, I visited ACCD. They were offering a new combo of Still Photography and Cinematography. Facilities at Art Centre are great. The fees are so too. But I'd rather be in New York City.
