Nicholas Barry
Out of curiosity, is there currently something wrong with the search engine? Some searches that I perform that used to return reliable results give me nothing. Namely, when I entered "Frontier minilab list" I didn't get the thread I started some time back (I was searching to add an post about a slight change in the location(s) of the list). However, seaching at Google, restricting the search to "site:www.photo.net" results in the thread making it to the top of the list. Is this a known issue right now? Should I just shut up? (Wait, don't answer that.)
richardcook
The search engine in photo.net is not teribly useful. As others have noted the 'search' threads in the 'feedback' forum, the engine does not make it clear what is being searched or allow scoping within a forum or date. While this is no big thing when the site has few items, it is devastating when it is as large as photo.net and severely limits the value of the site.
