rjclarke
Hi- I have 2 questions regarding my Nikon N6000 1) While using this camera last weekend, the camera got to the 8yh frame, and showed the film end.(rewind). I turned the camera off, then on but still showed the end of the film on the 8yh frame of 24. Has this ever happened to anyone else? If so, what is wrong? 2) during flash photography in aperature priority(using a non af nikkor lens), there is a analog display that shows the exposure would be >-1 stop (underexposed). I looked through the N6006 Nikon instructions, and the magic lantern guide for the 6006/6000, but I do not see how to correct the exposure, or should I be concerned while using flash. Your help is appreciated
ivsimler
1.) I can't help you with that one....sorry. 2.) That meter is telling you that except for the object you are focused on (assuming it is in the range of your flash) everything else will be 1 stop underexposed if the flash serves as the main source of illumination. To try to rid yourself of that you can open up the aperture more (thus increasing the range of your flash for that picture). An example of what your picture might look like that everybody has done at some point in time is that you take a picture off a group of people at a party and the people look fine, but everything else in the picture is black..... You want to reduce the black part...... I don't know if the N6006 offers slow sync flash, but if it does then you can slap your camera on a tripod and take a longer exposure so the ambient light is balanced with the flash. I hope this helps a bit and I didn't make any mistakes... *8^) George
