Nikon Coolscan 2000 and the SA-30 film roll adapter

Does anyone know if one can use the SA-30 35mm Roll Film Adapter for

the Nikon Coolscan 2000? The reason I ask is because Nikon claims it

is �made� for the 4000 model scanner. The Coolscan 4000 also accepts

the SF-200 slide feeder adapter which Nikon claims it will work with

the Coolscan 2000.

I'm not definite but I thought I remember reading somewhere that the Nikon LS-IV cannot use the roll flm adapter so I cannot imagine the LS-2000 would. Keep in mind that the SA-30 requires an attachment on the back as well. The SF-200 does not appear to. This could be an important factor as perhaps only the 4000 has this slot.
