jerard_solinger
I have a 2-A Brownie, which has an aperture slide, with three holes. The largest hole is aligned with the slide pushed clear in. The medium size hole, and smallest hole, become aligned as the slide is pulled out. Does anyone know the aperture values of these three holes? This camera has a 2nd slide which allows for locking the shutter in the open position. I plan to shoot several types of photos, with the shutter open, and either timed exposures, or completely flash-lighted exposures. Has anyone tried these methods? Any advice greatly appreciated. Thanks-in-advance, Jerry
chuck_baker1
Hi Jerry...go to:http://member.aol.com/chuck02178/tech.htmfor the info you want.I've shot both time exposure and flash the way you've described many times with good results. My advice is shoot alot of film and experiment.
Good Luck,
ChuckThe Brownie Camera Page
wind.dk
The link seems to be slightly wrong, adding 's' made it work for me: http://members.aol.com/chuck02178/tech.htm. I had intended to post my own question but found it answered on Chuck's excellent site.

And for anyone interested, on my site you can see a picture taken with a No.2 C Brownie on a summer day in the park, before I knew the technical details.
