joseph_zarick
I have acquired a B J 8x10 in need of repair and need an inexpensive, maybe under $300, lens to get started. Any suggestions? Thanks from Cincinnati Ohio
andrew_cole1
I also have an older B&J 8x10 that I'm restoring (it works, but needs some fixin). I got a Turner Reich triple convertible for something like $300.00, you should be able to find something on ebay, but check Midwest Photo Exchange also, they usually have a couple listed pretty inexpensively. <p> I'm curious to hear what you're fixing on yours, please email privately if you want to discuss restoration. david_goldfarb
Something like the Turner Reich triple convertible mentioned might be nice, because it will give you a range of focal lengths. The venerable Kodak 12" Commercial Ektar is also a good affordable normal lens for 8x10".
ed b.
You might also consider an old 12" Goertz Dagor. I bought one a few years back for about $250--it still works fine.
sean_yates2
FWIW I have a Turner Reich 12/19.7/25" in a Betax # 4 for sale for $200.00 if you're interested. I can send jpgs.
