How long before photos get indexed by the search engine?

Just wondering how long it takes to get photos to come up in the

gallery search engine after they've been uploaded. My initial reason

for joining the site was to get a few more Minox photos up, as there

aren't that many on the web, and even less that demonstrate that they

make decent cameras when you hit the focus right. But when I search

for minox I still get the same results as I did when I joined. Just

curious. Or am I doing something wrong when uploading?
