To examine negatives or slides from Minox GT-E, I use a Peak 22x loup or Tasco 20x achro-loup.

As Minoxar lens of GT-E has a resolution of over 80 line pairs/mm, while the human eyes resolves average 4 lpmm,

with a 20x loup, human eye can resolve 20x 4 = 80 lpmm, right in the ball park.

Minox made two versions of Minox loup for examination of 8x11 negatives or slides: a loup with handle and a loup with handle plus cutter to cut negatives or chromes.

Minox loup is conveniet for examine Minox negatives in wallet without taking out the negative strip.

Its magnification is about 10x, good for overview. Since COMPLAN or MINOX lens is capable of resolving over 150 lpmm on film,

a 40x loup is necessary for examination for critical sharpness. I bought a 30x "jeweller's loup" from eBay for that purpose,

but alas ! the so call 30x loup has less magnification then the Peak 22x or TASCO 20x loup !

I use a microscope with 10x objective and 10x eye piece for combined magnification of 100x to examine Minox 8x11 mm negatives.

Emoskop (also know as Emoscop ) made by EMO-Optik Arthur

Seibert Wetzlar is excellent for examination of Minox negatives.

Emoskop is a combo of telescope, loup and microscope.

The 10x loup and 15x loup is great for examine negative, and the

30x microscope is great for examining details of Minox negative.
