octavian__
I recently purchased an inoperative 35 GT and got it to work after cleaning tha lint that I found in the shutter release mechanism. To do this all I did was remove the top of the camera to expose the shutter release button mechanism. I then reassembled the camera taking care to make sure that the flash sensor was seated in the little notch on the inside of the flash hot shoe housing. It was a bit tricky to get the spring loaded arm of the sensor in the right position since I had to have the camera upside down so that the 2X, and Batt Test buttons wouldn't fall out. Well, the camera works fine now, but the flash won't fire. I even took it apart again and reassembled but no luck. Can anyone enlighten me (no pun intended) on what may be going on? I can live with the camera as it is, but I'm a bit of a stickler for getting things to work so this is nagging me. <p> Regards, Octavian Popa
