From the intersection of Maryland Ave and Washington Pl in Baltimore

head south on Washington Pl go 5 blocks make a left, go 3 blocks make

a right and go to the end. There you will find an excellent

landscape! At least that's my opinion and is that not point!

Wang,

Your inqury depends on how you define landscape! Anyway, I will

try to point a couple of places that might quench your photographic

thirst. Take I-66 West to Warrenton, VA. Get into route 211 heading

South/West towards Washington,VA. The stretch between Warrenton and

Sperryville has some of the most beautiful farmland and rolling hills

in the area. You may want to head further West towards New Market and

take I-81 south too. Also, Route 340 West to Shennandoah State Park

will be another place you would enjoy.

Send me an e-mail, perhaps we could tag along one of these days when

weather permits!

Agree with the above post, also check out the Monte Cello and Airlie

areas. Don't forget Chad's backyard, there are a lot of beautiful

farm-land-scapes in Frederick County, MD. If you plan to shot in DC

with your LF gear, make sure to get a permit, especially around the

mall area. Happy new year!

You might try the Chesapeake/Delaware Bay areas as well. Some great

sunrises and sunsets over lighthouses, marsh reeds etc.: Cape

Henlopen State Park in Delaware; Kent Island area near the Bay

Bridge. There are a number of wildlife refuges on the Eastern Shore

of Maryland and Deleware that are within a 3 hour drive: Bombay Hook

National Wildlife Refuge north of Dover; Prime Hook National Wildlife

Refuse between Rehoboth Beach and Dover.
