what adaptor for Nikkor lense 105/f2.5 screw mount using on M system

Hi Alfred,

as you may know, there is no correct frameline for the 105 in any

Leica. If you want to use the built-in finder you can choose between

the 90 and 135 adaptor (those from Leica or Voigtlaender are easily

obtainable) - then either choose the outer 90mm or inner 135mm

frames.
If you will use an external finder, the choice of the adaptor doesn't

matter, any one will do.
Be aware that some LTM adaptors don't couple correctly with distances

less than 1.8m (I have one myself and encountered another one

already). Better stick to quality material (Leica and Voigtlaender)

here.

The 90mm LTM to M adapter is what I use with my 105 f2.5 LTM....What

is cool is the lens has a 52mm filter size; so your modern day 105mm

Nikon lens hood works on the 1950's 105mm Nikkor LTM.... My 105mm

F2.5 LTM and 90mm LTM to M adapter (Leitz) couple correctly to my

beater grade M3 all the way to its closest focusing distance of 4

feet...I am puzzled about Kai's comment that "some adapters will not

couple correctly to 1.8m".....The lens feature that couples to the

rangefinder is on the lens; and not the adapter.. The adapter only

mates the LTM lens to the B bayonet; and also have different features

to key to the viewfinder brightlines.... Kai; are you meaning

parallax error instead of focusing??? --regards Philip
