richard_fulco2
Hi
I've noticed that some of the aperture rings on my various M lenses seem to be looser than others. Are the tiny screws in the aperture rings themselves used to tighten/loosen the rings? The lenses perform perfectly, but I was just curious as to the possibility of adjustment. Thanks in advance. paul_chefurka
I don't know about doing it yourself, but I know a repair tech can do it. I had the aperture ring of my 50 Summicron tightened up by Getty Smith at Kindermann here in Canada.

andrew_schank
If you are comparing some vintage chrome lenses to more modern (1980's and newer), they will feel different.
robert_schneider
Don Goldberg (DAG Camera Repair, 608.838.4769) tightened up the very loose aperture ring on my 35 Summilux-ASPH. He turned it around quickly, too.
Rob Schneider
