steven_sisti
Do I understand this correctly ? If mirror lockup custom function is on, and the self timer button is activated, pressing the shutter button will result in mirror lock-up, followed by a 2 second delay, then shutter release. If lockup custom function is not on, and the self timer button is activated, pressing the shutter button will result in a ten second delay, then shutter firing. In short, mirror lock only works when the CF mirror lock function is on and the self timer button is activated. thanks
bliorg
Short Answer: Yep. <p> Long Answer: The A2/A2E/5 doesn't provide manual MLU - only a 2 second 'pre-fire', which locks the mirror, allows vibration to subside, and then fires the shutter. <p> You understand correctly.
