Mark Keefer
Are Canon Powershot Camera's allowed ?. Hmmm...personally I have no issue with it, but I would like a moderator to clarify. Technically it a Canon Camera and EOS is just Branding Canon uses for a line of cameras. Electro Optical System (EOS), PowerShot is Canon's Branding for point and shoot. On the other hand, It's not like this thread has hundreds of posts and I personally don't want to discourage any one shooting with Canon photography equipment, I will let it slide and if you post a photo or three the worst that can happen is a moderator will chime in and say no. Post and see what happens Cheers, Mark
JDMvW
I personally would allow any image taken with any Canon camera, from a RF to a modern mirrorless. But then, I'm easy. As said, these forums (fora?) are not exactly crowded.

Burnsie
My Canon RP is not the greatest at sports pictures, but this little guy (my grandson) makes it fun and easy. :)
Burnsie
Now this young lady (my granddaughter) makes it a little more challenging to capture some action with the RP.
ajkocu
Thunderstorms rolled through Chicago again Friday night/Saturday morning. Sometimes I'm glad I suffer from insomnia! May as well get out of bed and shoot. Canon 80D with 10-22 EF-s lens @ 10mm. I had a filter on the lens and had a plastic baggy wrapped around the body of the lens as well. Time exposures up to 30 seconds. Chairs in the alley with the SL-1 with 50 F/1.4

Canon 5D MKIV Two days ago in Yosemite I've been to Yellowstone but never to Yosemite. I think I'd have a religious experience if I set foot on that hallowed ground that Ansel walked on! Nice photo! I think I'd have a religious experience if I set foot on that hallowed ground that Ansel walked on! Nice photo! Adrian, this did feel like hallowed ground and I appreciated every moment I was there. I could spend a season shooting and never run out of things to shoot. So many waterfalls, mountains and locations. We camped in a rustic site close to the park for only two nights. Driving Highway 49 with the 37 foot long RV with steep twisting turns up and down the sides of cliffs coming from the coast was crazy to get to the camp. There were easier roads. We have been on the road so I have hardly had time to process all the shots only dowloading the camera to hard drive and cherry picking a handful to my tablet with cellular service to share and get on the internet. So far in the last two weeks we have camped Yosemite California, Zion, Bryce Canyon Utah, The Grand Canyon Arizona. Today we are taking a break in Apache Junction near Phoenix visiting my son. It will take me weeks to go through everything with lightroom when we get the East Coast in a few weeks. It's an adventure in the RV every day, good roads and rough. I can only imagine how people made this journey in the 1800s in wagons and horses. 1 Cheers, Mark

The most I ever did was a three week tour with 4x5 film going through South Dakota Badlands, Yellowstone, Mr. Rushmore and the Devil's Tower. I'm not even sure I printed anything from the Devil's Tower.
