gary green
My supply of HC-110 (old formula) is dwindling and, being a tinkerer at heart, I've been reading up on home brew developers, caffenol in particular. Below are worthless test shots I made with an expired roll of Holga 400 using an Argus Super 75 (6x6) developed in my very first batch of caffenol. First image is of actual ingredients I used. It was a gray overcast day with intermittent rain so overall lighting is drab. The results, however, were better than expected. Grain is more pronounced than HC-110 but I plan to verify this with a roll of 100 iso film in better light in the near future.

rick_drawbridge
What a great selection of photographs so far this week! @Tony Evans: I've noticed that over the last few weekly threads that your images are just a little sharper and with better contrast levels than previously. Have you changed your scanner settings? Overall, very nice indeed. @gary green: I'm surprised by the quality of the Caffenol results, especially considering the dubious quality of the film stock involved. Please post more samples as you go along. I'm pleased you selected "Other Rooms" from my post for favourable comment; it's my pick of the bunch, too. @ mjferron: I particularly like your available light interior shots, being a lover of low-key, film noir type images. I'm pleased you liked the clevis pic; the Sigma 24-135mm f/2.8-4.5 is quite a competent lens. Edited May 19, 2022 by rick_drawbridge

Still V700 but changed from Silverfast 8, back to Epson Scan, scanning directly to 16 bit instead of to 8 bit in SF8 and converting to 16 bit in PS. Noticeable difference. Can’t be bothered scanning in colour in SF8 just to get 16 bit. Epson Scan will do. Tony Evans
Mike Gammill
I agree, great selection of photos so far and this is only the first day of the new thread. mjferron
I picked up another Konica rangefinder (like I don't have enough old film cameras) This one is a Model III with a 48mm F2 Hexanon lens. I picked it up off of Ebay and was disappointed to see the frame counter does not work and there is a filter ring dent. Both issues were undisclosed. Cosmetically the camera is beautiful with an acceptably clear rangefinder and smooth film advance. Test shot. rick_drawbridge
To keep things moving along here are some from the Minolta SRT202 with the Tokina RMC 35-135mm f/3.5-4.5 one-touch zoom that I pictured in the "What camera weekend..." thread. As I'd hoped, it performed very well. The film was Kentmere 100 developed in PMK Pyro. Boss Stool Crossing Two Floating Late Pickets
Mike Gammill
Great results from the Tokina, Rick. Another Tokina that I like is the often overlooked compact 70-210 f 4-5.6. I have one in Yashica C/Y mount.
