ron_sellers1
I have a six 20 special and am wondering if the camera exposure is f14 at 1/30 or 1/50 sec. what would the best 120 film be and light conditions that will allow that specific exposure. How did they do it in the old days to expose to all conditions?
pete_lutz
Hi, Ron,I'm certainly no expert, but I now own 3 620 cameras, and have been experimenting with all kinds of film speeds in color and B/W. I re-spool 120 onto 620 spools (which you will need to do with your six-20 special) myself, and have found this procedure to be almost as enjoyable as the exposure - call me weird. Anyway, I recommend you do your own experimenting to find out what works best for your camera. When it was built, film was a lot different, and now that your camera's about 50 years old, the shutter speed may not be actually as advertised. The experimentation will also give you a great deal of satisfaction. <p> Good luck! Pete Lutz
