brian_niemi1
I bought a Dell XPS last year and I am quite happy with the performance. I had just bought a 45-megapixel camera so I wanted a computer with better performance when photo stacking macro images.
Ken Katz
Thank you all for your help. Ordered a Dell XPS with the 12th generation i7 processor. According to Puget Sounds Systems, the 12th gen Intel processors had significant improvements in their Lightroom benchmark over the 11th gen, so it made sense to go with the new processor since Lightroom will be my most power hungry application. In addition, I went with a 1Tb SSD plus a 2Tb hard drive, 32GB RAM. Stayed with the base NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 GPU since it exceeded current Lightroom benchmark and material upgrades are quite expensive right now. The 12% Presidents day discount didn't hurt either.
