Matt Laur
Note: In the interests of balancing performance and quality, the topic of image file size and dimensions as normally posted to this recurring thread is under discussion elsewhere in the Nikon forum (the topic is obvious when you look) - please check in there and comment if you have thoughts to share! That's the best place to talk about that particular topic. For now, consider keeping uploads no larger than 1600 pixels on the long side when it matters, and sticking with 1000 pixels when the image feels no pain at that resolution. On data size/compression, try to keep things under 1mb, shooting for 600kb when you can stop there. Note that this includes photos hosted off-site (at Flickr, Photobucket, your own site, etc). Are you new to this thread? The general guidelines for these Wednesday threads are right here: http://www.photo.net/nikon-camera-forum/00W7km. For now, we're sticking with 1, 2, or 3 images per week as you see fit. A good Nikon Wednesday to everyone. This week has me documenting some hardware for a client, and we're about 600 images in so far (whew). Along the way, we were working with a bulk battery charging device that's used in the field on deployments. That world runs on radios, and radios run on lots and lots of big lithium batteries. So, a snapshot of that hardware while we were working. Show me something a little more organic, please! D810 with a 24-70/2.8
tsypkin
I was lucky today - Nature came to my street. And it was not afraid of my camera, and posed willingly. D7100, Nikon 18-200mm

ShunCheung
A couple of images from the Davies Symphony Hall in San Francisco. To be discreet, I took a smaller lineup with a Z6ii and only the 24-200mm zoom. The disadvantage of that zoom is that it reached f6.3 from around 80mm and up, so that I ended up using a fairly high ISO. Conductor Michael Tilson Thomas and pianist Yuja Wang with the San Francisco Symphony, zoom at 200mm, f6.3, 1/200 sec and ISO 5000 The San Francisco City Hall on Van Ness Avenue, zoom at 31mm, f5, 1/15 sec and ISO 5000. The 24-200 has optical VR and the Z6ii has IBIS; that combo works out well.
