john_reichenbach
I have a 2C in good condition that I've not paid much attention to due to the fact it uses 130 film. Has anyone had any luck substituting another size film? Seondly, (maybe this should have been first!) the lens appears to be missing. I think I've heard that some early camera's had their lens behind the shutter. Is this possible or was I dreaming?!
pete_lutz
John, I just took a look over at Walker Mangum's Kodak page, at the #2 Brownie Model C (is this the model you have?) box camera, and he (Walker) says that it (the camera) took 120 film, not 130. Are you certain about this? Do you have a "No. 2C Folding Autographic Brownie"? Big difference, pal. That one took 130 film (thanks, Chris Eve). Also, some early cameras did have the lens behind the shutter, but not the folding camera, which makes me think you have the box. Joo got some 'splainin' to do!
