randy_boren1
FS: Tamron BBAR Multi C 24mm f/2.5 for parts repair For parts/ repair because there is considerable distortion/softness in the corners, edges of the image. It may have been dropped. The lens had led a rough life, marks on the front and rear lenses, paint loss on the body. The aperture works and is snappy, focus is smooth. Does not have a mount, this is the lens only. No caps but will be very well packed for transport. Sold as is, no return. I am reducing my collection and will be listing many items in the near future. USA sales only. Payment by Paypal. Shipping is extra. $30.00 + shipping

randy_boren1
I am reopening this thread because I have discovered something new, to me, about this lens. Mainly, it has not been dropped and is not damaged, it is just very well used. I initially thought it was fuzzy when I mounted it on my FE2 so I did not take any photos with it. This perceived fuzziness really bugged me because I could not find anything broken, bent or otherwise damaged on the lens, so I reattached the mount and made a few pictures with it. This time the viewfinder image was better, not as crisp as my AF 24mm Nikkor but much better than the first look. I took a photo of the living room, intentionally including the fan light to check for flare. The image is not too bad, not as good as the AF Nikkor 24 but none the less quite useable. The exposure was f/11 for 1 sec. It is back for sale: $30.00 plus shipping of your choice.
randy_boren1
The image is full frame, printed on my Focomat V-35. 4x6 image on 5x7 paper. I am still trying to dial in the best developer and times for the 5222.
