Where? They are good shots. I particularly like the second - a challenging contrast between history and the novelty of now. Good choice of lens. Regards, Arthur.

Hi, my shots are 'round up the usual suspects'. We've gone haywire here with covid - don't know what's happening where you are. But it's 'tucker down' here. So my shots. Monochrom, adjusted ISO, 75mm voigtlander lens. My stepson to begin with, in a more lucid moment:

They are good, very good, barryfisher. Film? Processing? I continue to be amazed at the virtuosity of imagery on this site. It excels. I like the first shot in particular. A touch of life. Tiro, quoting Cicero, once said 'the years sweep us away, as the gale sweeps away the leaves' (or something like that); these images remain forever. Tell me about your IIIf. I have a couple, they are good, with summitars, and a couple of old Ruski reproduction, I expect elmars or summars. I enjoy using them, though they require discipline. Regards, Arthur.

Thanks Arthur. The IIIF I bought on a lark at a Used Camera shop near me for a couple of hundred dollars with the Elmar 50 3.5. It needs a complete overhaul, new curtains, adjustment, cleaning etc. But it did take some nice photos, and I only used it a couple of times because frankly it was a bit of a PITA. I didn't mind precutting the film leader, but the focusing dance was fun to say the least. focussing with the eye at one window and framing with the other window. But in daytime you could zone focus and it worked fine. The last shot is at night. Film was most likely Tri-X in HC110, a fairly fast general developer we used at school. The thing that was so great at school, is the techs would hand out the developer at generally the correct temperature and in the developing rooms you could control the water temperature so it made for great developing environment.
