mike_sowsun
I don’t shoot much film, and when I do, I certainly don’t need a fast continuous frame advance, but it is fun to play around with sometimes. The spec for the EOS-3 with a Standard 2CR5 (6.10v) or Four AA alkaline (6.0v) is 4.3 frames per second. I confirmed this using a standard 2CR5 battery and also 4 Alkaline AA batteries. Right now I have my BP-E1 loaded with 4 Lithium AA batteries, and also a rechargeable R2CR5 battery. I have been playing around and discovered I am actually getting about 4.8 frames per second when I use either the rechargeable 2CR5 battery (6.72v), or the 4 lithium AA batteries (6.93v).
