The 9_11 Tribute lights had been switched on early .... Such a powerful visual statement. Sandy Vongries Posted November 19, 2021 Share Posted November 19, 2021 Search lights were used before WWII to attract attention to movie premiers - there is credible info on one being used in the late 1920's at the Graumans Theater Premier of Doug Fairbanks Silent movie take on Robin Hood.
