jim_strutz Posted December 10, 1999 Share Posted December 10, 1999 I don't know about the 3, but I believe I read that some other EOS body with a studio light connector (1 or 5) would diasable second curtain sync with studio lights. But... <p> You could use a shoemount speedlite with optical triggers on the studio strobes. The problem would be the duration of the flash on a high power unit. If it's too long the second curtain will probably start closing before the light cuts off. I understand that some big strobes stay lit for 1/500 sec. and more.
