ShunCheung
Thanks. Updated my Z6 a few hours ago, also my Z6ii since I did not update that last month. I had both running simultaneously to save a minute or two.
Rob Davies
• Added support for:- FTZ II mount adapters, and- NIKKOR Z 24-120mm f/4 S lenses. [*]• Flicker is less likely to appear in the display during filming when N-Log or RAW footage is recorded to external HDMI video recorders at low light levels. [*]• Improved eye detection performance for Auto-area AF and Wide-area AF (L). [*]• Increased the refresh rate for the focus point displayed during face/eye-detection and subject-tracking AF. [*]• Improved face/eye detection performance and the visibility of subjects in pictures taken using an optional flash unit. [*]• Fixed the following issues: - The camera would sometimes stop responding when Auto was selected for Set Picture Control in the PHOTO SHOOTING MENU.- The camera would sometimes exceed the value selected for ISO sensitivity settings > Maximum sensitivity in the MOVIE SHOOTING MENU. All seems ok for the Z6, but it does not suddenly eye detect in wide-area AF - must be a typo, I can't see a way of switching it on in the menus. Rob Davies
subject tracking AF is much "stickier", not had the chance to try eye AF properly on the Z6.
mike_halliwell
Anyone notice that the firmware for the Z6ii came out before the Z9, 24-120mm & FTZii announcement? But firmware 1.30 didn't initially mention the 24-120mm or FTZii. Nikon updated the 1.30 release notes 'post announcement'.....:D
brian_niemi1
The Nikkor Z 70-200mm f/2.8 lens also has a firmware update to version 1.20. I learned about the update because I got an email from Nikon Canada, which was a bit odd since I live in Texas.
Greg Fight
Nikon also released firmware update for the Z50. I write this in hopes that I am not the only Z50 user in this forum.
