PuntaColorada
There are no rules as to how you apply your post processing to this image; but, please let us know what you have done so we can all learn. If you would like to post a candidate image next week, please ensure it is of sufficiently high resolution for manipulation by the participants (3000px on the long side, 300dpi for example). Most of all, let's have fun while we are learning or demonstrating how we use our post-processing software, imaginations and interpretations. The race is on!
Leslie Reid
I wouldn't be placing your bets just yet. More than one runner has been known to have been done in by the slime trail...
Leslie Reid
Alternative caption: "Hang on...which side of the mushroom was I supposed to eat?" Oh yeah, I forgot the details: Selection and resizing in Photoshop so I could place both the foot and the snail on the original background, then cloning to fill in the parts of the background that were missing and to reconstruct the toe of the shoe. Then to Lightroom to adjust the shadows, declarify and unsharpen the foot, and clarify and sharpen the snail. Glenn McCreery
Passing on the right. I placed a skateboard under the snail, copied the snail plus skateboard and then, to try to give a sense of motion, pasted several copies with opacity that decreased from the trailing edges. All in Photoshop CC. Edited October 9, 2021 by Glenn McCreery

PuntaColorada
It did not take me 2 months to do this, unlike 1st class air mail arriving in Uruguay.
