Film Camera Week for September 17

Recommended Posts

Greetings, all, and welcome to our new thread. Post all the images you like from any film camera. I'll start with some images from a roll of Ilford FP4+ that I processed and scanned earlier this week. I used HC110 dilution H and scanned with Epson V600. Camera was a Minolta XE-5 with Celtic 28mm f 2.8 MD.

I really enjoy this Celtic lens. I mentioned in an earlier post that It was a Christmas gift from my parents in 1978.

Wonderful landscapes, James. Here are a few from a roll of Astrum Foto 100 developed in PMK Pyro. I really like this film, though some loads exhibit physical defects that require a little PP. The camera was a Nikon F-100 with a Nikon 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5 lens.

A couple recent shots from the Baby Rollei on Arista EDU 100 Developed in straight D76. The price of 127 film keeps on rising. Prices now range from about $20-$25 a roll. Good news is Rerapan 400 is available now for $12 a roll. I have 2 on order to try out.

127 is definitely a niche market. I've only shot a few rolls of Rerapan 100 over the years, due to their price. I've also respooled 35mm and cut down 120 film to use my 127 format cameras.

I tried making a jig to cut down 120 but found working in the dark, fumbling around was not working for me.
