Thanks for the links! I will go check them out now.
Just an aside - I'm on PC, so probably won't be Final Cuts Pro. I've used Pinnacle Studio in the past, but will see if I can afford some version of Adobe Premiere - even a basic version would probably be sufficient for a while. we'll see, looks kind of pricey, but very cool stuff! :-) Ah, like everything...trade offs.
Thanks,
I've used Premiere Elements for years on my computers, currently running Windows 11. I've done slide shows of stills inclduing video clips. It's pretty cheap to buy the lifetime license for Premiere Elements and you don't have to pay a monthly fee like Premiere Pro. You can get a deal if you buy the companion PS Elements for stills. I posted some work on my Youtube pages. I think you can download the app for a free period to test it out.

This one combines stills with video clips in a 2K video. Turn on the sound. Premier Elements can use and produce 4K as well. My new videos are in 4K. I store them on a memory card connected to the USB jack of my 75" TV. Of course, I can see them on monitors, cellphones, etc as well. .
