Tony Parsons
As we have a few new posters, I thought I'd repeat the heading from the first thread : "Thursday chosen as nothing ever happens on a Thursday! Suggested guidelines : Images as per usual PN size. Up to three images per contributor per week (open to negotiation on this one, mods). Pentax or Pentax-type kit (i.e. K-mount bodies and lenses, any Pentax MF, any M42 kit etc). Polite, constructive feedback, please. Anyone anything else ? If so, shout." JDMvW
Ernst Ludwig of Weixdorf is not up there with the absolute stars of the East German and pre-war lens makers, but they were and clearly are (from M42dave's image) very serviceable lenses. Although they were most famous as the cheapest lens for the inexpensive Exa camera, M42 was their second home and they show up occsionally on Praktiflexes and and early Prakticas.
