Mike Gammill
Great results from the 28-70, Rick. Tamron both back in the Adaptamatic days to the last Adaptall II series really made some good lenses. We sold the original Adaptalls at the family camera shop, but by the time the Adaptall II came out we were selling Soligor and Sigma along with the budget lines from camera makers (like the Yashica YUS and Minolta Celtic). The first Tamron lens I owned was the Adaptall 85-210 f 4.5. Generally a good performer, although the 210 got a bit soft if used with a teleconverter. The 38-100 f 3.8 was a beast which was sharp enough, but had more barrel distortion at the 38mm end than I cared for. Good start to the thread, everyone. Looking forward to seeing more images. If any of you live in areas that will be affected by Hurricane Ida please stay safe.

Tony Evans
Luis, great traditional 35 mm! Really appreciate you listing development parameters. These are always of interest to those seeking ideas on other films and their development. You have influenced me to do the same in future and hope other members will follow. Thank you. 1 Tony Evans

As you've probably observed, I'm a great fan of Tamron lenses, and some are truly exceptional. Oddly enough, I've just taken a break from some floral photography using the beautiful little SP 35-80mm f/2.8-3.8 (Model 01A), which I know you rather like. For sheer ease of use, colour rendition, background effects and sharpness, I think it's in a class of it's own. Here's a sample, hot off the press and pretty much straight out of the camera.
