The lever gets progressively stiff as Ipush it through its stroke to advance the film. It takes a lot of leverage to move that big hunk of film across the rails and onto the takeup spool. I have read that the secret to avoiding mechanical breakdowns in this area is to work the lever slowly and smoothly, NOT fast and hard. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
