Film Camera Week for July 9

Recommended Posts

Greetings, all, and welcome to our new thread. Post all the images you like from any film camera. I'll start with some images from a roll of Kentmere 400 that I processed and scanned earlier this week. Camera was Minolta XE.

The Kentmere 400 is a bit grainier than Tri-X or HP5+, I still may consider picking up a bulk roll. I might cut a little off the developing time on my second roll.

Some from a Nikon F100, using the Astrum Foto-100 film developed in PMK Pyro. The first three images were from a 24-135mm Sigma D f/2.8-4.5 Aspherical lens, and the others from a 28-70mm Sigma UC f/2.8-4. I should explain that our town is staging a Mid-Winter Christmas festival, hence the Santa pic!

Горизонт-202 mi amor by Georg, auf Flickr

Fun with a soviet- or russian-made panoramic-camera (Horizon 202). And that's not a lightleak, that's „aura” ;-)

The right image is „real” and was shot with a XPan. Somehow I couldn't resist to double and flip the scan. But this could be done in the real wet darkroom too.

A few more samples from the Astrum Foto-100 film developed in PMK Pyro. This time the camera was a Canon T90; the first frame was taken with a Canon FD 28-80mm f/4 lens, and the others with a Canon FD 50mm f/1.4.

Testbild mit Box-Tengor by Georg, auf Flickr

Developed the first two rolls of 120 with/from a new to me Zeiss Ikon Box Tengor 54/2.

The image above was shot on Fomapan 100 and semi-stand-developed. I'm absolutely amazed by the tonal range (I've shot this boat a couple of times with different cames, film, digital too). Don't know what the reason for the uneven brightness is.

Semi-Standentwicklung Testbild by Georg, auf Flickr

neighborhood in the evening, this was captured on very expired Tri-X 400, the semi-stand-development worked pretty well in my opinion

This was shot with a Fuji GW 680 III.
