Niels - NHSN
I think all top plates since the M7 has been brass with the exception of one "economy" digital M I don't recall the name of. 1 Niels
Niels - NHSN
The model I was thinking of was "M (Typ 262)" Niels
Greg M
Correct, and the difference when totting one of each is substantial. The M262 top plate is made from aluminum. It is not "light weight" by any imagination and every bit as high quality as an M240 or M246 Monochrome, but noticeably lighter. At one point, for about a year, I had the M262 which I bought brand new in 2016, one M240P and an M246. Today the only one I still own is the M262.
