ShunCheung Posted June 18, 2021 Share Posted June 18, 2021 These two black-crowned night heron chicks were venturing out of their cliff-side nest on Bird Island, Point Lobos State Reserve in California. While adult herons have a black back and red eyes, the juveniles have yellow eyes and yellow, greenish legs. 5 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
