My limited contributions. Jan and I went to her younger brother's 60th last night. Not the best night, to be honest (I was profoundly ill - post Astra Zeneca vaccination, and so cold, couldn't stop shaking).

All with my monochrom and 75mm lens.

Herewith the birthday boy with some of his friends:

Herewith a couple of the shots of the band employed to produce industrial deafness in the audience:

And I do not know what else you are saying. I have liked this image before in a previous post - it's good. I would love to know it's origin. The grain calls. I could be rude and recall Martin Heidegger's statement (I do not endorse Heidegger's philosophy), but the image calls, language calls. Well done Allen. Keep safe. I've remembered, his consort was Hannah Arendt, she was rehabilitated by the American right post WW2. So if it's the image that matters , I've got to say it doesn't. It's the story behind the image, as well as the emotional response from the viewer, and so much more..

Keep safe. Regards, Arthur. So nothing works for me tonight. Well, I was so full of myself, I thought I had an image not previously posted that I could show you to tell a story. My own practice has caught up to me (I delete all my images when they are removed). Again my apologies. Regards, Arthur (apiarist1). Keep safe Allen. Regards, Arthur (apiarist1)

The story is the image, it has its own language, and the story you take from it ,is all about your own imagination.

The origin is from Cuba, where due to politics, poverty abounds. A sadness.

"And I do not know what else you are saying. Arthur.

Me neither, one too many beers, for the road,

Anyway, I was wandering around, and I noticed this moon.

So, I pointed my panny gx8, and panny 45-.175mm (think times two) and the there you go.

And, thanks to God, You're a gem. I keep saying to my wife that I will miss her when I'm dead. I'll miss this forum a bit less, and more. Suds, enjoy them. A great shot, Allen. The moon, the moon. It may have been an Angelica Houston movie that brings me back memories of the moon. But so good. Regards, Arthur. To do the moon, herewith an Oz construction: a movie, the night, the moon. Enjoy. https://vimeo.com/194625175
