Matt Laur
Important: please keep your image under 1000 pixels on the longest side for in-line viewing, and please keep the FILE SIZE UNDER 300kb. Note that this includes photos hosted off-site (at Flickr, Photobucket, your own site, etc). Are you new to this thread? The general guidelines for these Wednesday threads are right here:http://www.photo.net/nikon-camera-forum/00W7km. This forum's moderators are allowing up to three Nikon Wednesday images per week, so share some work! I figured a half an hour spent watching the Blue Angels play tag over the Naval Academy (they're in town for the graduation ceremony later this week) should yield something for Nikon Wednesday. Used the D810 and the 200-500/5.6 on this mostly cloudy day. Sometimes that lens was too long! What's everyone else been up to? Share some photos!

ShunCheung
I have been to the Crater Lake National Park in a winter setting twice, both in late May back in 2006 and then 2021. I have also been there once in early/mid September, without snow. Back in 2006 I stayed at the lodge for two nights and got better sunrises both mornings. This year, reservations are hard to come by and we only managed to get accommodation for one night, and that sunrise was probably below average. However, even 15 years ago, I think the D2x was already a pretty good landscape camera at this base ISO 100. 2006 image: Nikon D2x with 12-24mm/f4 AF-S DX lens @ 13mm, f8, 1/100 sec, and base ISO 100 2021 image: Nikon Z6 with 14-30mm/f4 S lens @ 14mm, f8, 1/60 sec and ISO 100.
