Film Camera Week for April 16

Recommended Posts

Greetings, all and welcome to our new thread. Post all the images you like from any film camera. Tech data and location if you have it. I did not process any film this week so I'm pulling some older images, I plan to process and scan some film over the next new days.

Six from a Minolta Alpha (Dynax) 7 with a Minolta 24-105mm f/3.5-4.5 lens. The film was Ilford FP4 Plus developed in PMK Pyro. From a "New Topographics" series I'm working on.

I picked up a beautiful Nikkormat FT3 . Brings my Nikkormat collection to 5. Lens used was a Nikon 28mm ais 2.8 and the film was Arista edu 100 developed in Rodinal 1/100 semi stand for 30 minutes. (10 agitations at 10 minute intervals.)

I had a bit of fun shooting with Exakta-mount German glass on my Canon F-1n via Canon's Lens Converter E. All images Ilford Delta 100.

Zeiss 50 f3.5 Tessar. I've had this lens for probably three decades now and these are the first images I've made with it. They won't be the last.

Damn I am looking at the detail on the front tire of your first shot. Not sure I’ve seen better detail from 35mm before. That must be one fine lens.

It really is a lovely lens and justly famous. The Delta 100 certainly doesn't hurt any, either. I really enjoy the results from all three lenses I used as they each have such distinct character. The Tessar surprised me as I've previously shot with the f2.8 version before and it was just "ok".

A few shots from my first roll in the Rolleiflex SL66 in a couple of decades. I'd loaned it to my father as he wanted to try some medium format macro work and when I finally got it back after his passing most of the coverings had curled up and fallen off (why?). I recently put some nice new Moroccan leather on and shot a roll of HP5. I do love this camera...
