pictures of seals, whales, penguins and birds in their natural habitattaken with a Minox 8x11 camera.</font><br><br><h2><font size=+1>�Differences Between the Longmans edition and Harper Row edition</font></h2> <p><br><font size=+1>���� The Longmans edition andthe Harper Row edition were probably printed by the same printer.</font><br><font size=+1>The bulk of the text and photographs are the same. The only difference is in the dust jacket.</font><p><font size=+1>The Longmans edition has a picture of a bird perchingon the flag mast of Yacht Britannia, the Harper edition haspicture of three sea birds soaring in the sky. Both pictures were not inside the books. MTC Photography Posted January 10, 2000 Author Share Posted January 10, 2000 Sir Edmund Hillary, the famous explorer published a new book: Sir Edmund Hillary View from the Top <p> In this book, Sir Edmond Hillary wrote about the exploration strip of H.R.H Prince Philip in 1956. At that time the Royal Yacht visited New Zealand, and Sir Edmund Hillary and his team was preparing for a trek across the Antarctic on their ship Endeavor, which was "in the shadow of Britannia". Prince Philip on his last day of stay at New Zealand, invited Sir Edmund Hillary's whole Antarctic exploration team to the Royal Yacht Britannia. <p> Many years later, they met at a WWF conference. MTC Photography Posted August 3, 2000 Author Share Posted August 3, 2000 It is hard to find this book with clean dust jacket<p> After some effort, I manage to get one copy of each of the two editions with good cover<p> <center> <img src="http://www.accessv.com/~~martntai/public_html/manual/seabird2.jpg"></center> <p><P><center> <img src="http://www.accessv.com/~~martntai/public_html/manual/britainia.jpg"></center> <p> Of the two editions, the Harper edition is only partially cloth bound, while the Longman edition was bound in royal blue cloth, prettier.
