Karim Ghantous
I am considering renewing my membership, which I have completely forgotten about recently. The list of premium membership benefits include discounted insurance, ad-free portfolio etc. But it does not mention the photo.net address. Can someone confirm that this is an ongoing benefit? That is the one feature that made me decide to join all those years ago. Thank you.
William Michael
For relevance to those who might not be aware of their existence, these email addresses were an intermediary which allowed members to correspond without one member seeing the other member's personal email address. My "photo.net email address" was rendered inactive when PNMk2 was brought online: I assume this is the same for all members. You could try it, simply send an email to your "photo.net email address" and it will either be on-sent to your login email address or not. I conclude that because PNMk2 has a PM (Private Message) application, this was/is seen to be a replacement for, and upgrade to the previous photo.net email address system of communication. The PM service is more flexible is so far as it allows point to multi-point communications, which the email system did not allow. There are other features too, for one example, I just sent a PM to you (Karim) and in it I easily sent a copy of a file of one of my images. Sanford
sanford@photo.net hasn't worked for at least a year. Very disappointed as I gave this email address out to many people, ever used it on a business card.

Very disappointed as I gave this email address out to many people, ever used it on a business card. Yes, that's kind of what I was getting at. That email address definitely helps you stand out. I have to change my website pretty quick smart!
William Michael
That email address definitely helps you stand out. Ah! I now do understand the point of the OP. Personally, I never ever thought to used my "photo.net email" for any purpose other than for communication to other members. WW

katsone
How do I remove "Automatic renewal" from my information? I knew the renewal time was near, and I didn't get an email or notification. I found out when I got my credit card bill. Oh, and what is the basic subscription cost? Premium subscription isn't really a bonus right now. Thanks. Sandy Vongries
How do I remove "Automatic renewal" from my information? I knew the renewal time was near, and I didn't get an email or notification. I found out when I got my credit card bill. Oh, and what is the basic subscription cost? Premium subscription isn't really a bonus right now. Thanks. Basic is $0, Premuim is $29.95. If you click on the Photo Net logo upper left corner of the Forums page it will take you to a page with a lot of info at the bottom. One of the glitches reported a very long time ago is that Automatic Renewal Change and Change Payment method were broken. If the renewal was against your wishes, you might contact your credit card company, or try the contact link on the previously described page. Sorry!
