Anyone having any problems in general with email today?

Email from my domain server is fine. What email server/provider are you talking about? There are thousands!!

If you don't mind me saying (and even if you do): this is a strange place to ask about your service provider's status. How should we know what they are up to? And how is this photography related?

Many email services (e.g., AOL and Gmail) are instituting 2-part verification, which causes problems with third party applications like Apple Mail and Microsoft Outlook. You may need to log into the provider directly and find out what to do. Solutions include generating an application-specific password and using that in your account setup.

 

You can usually log into the email provider directly and see what you've been missing. While generally reliable, checking each provider is a PITA, and exposes you to 80% ads and 20% service.

 

That said, even the best internet service providers go dead from time to time. That affects not only email, but all internet service. Don't expect an apology, or even an explanation for the failure. A gradual deterioration of service speed can often be solved by rebooting your service modem or router.

I recently lost access to 3 of 4 email accounts on my android phone. Gmail still fine. I have tried reinstalling mail app and several other options reccomended. No luck yet. No problem on desktop aside from being very very slow after mac os upgrade.
