P67 / 645 Converter

I'm in the early stages of thinking about purchasing a P645 (original type) as a back-up for my 67. I've always loved the P645 and now, probably due to the N and N2 versions being available, the 2nd hand prices have dropped considerably.

I would use my 45, 90 and 165 P67 lenses on the P645 using the converter that is available. Question is.... does the converter for the Pentax 645 (a) alter the focal length of the P67 lenses (b) is infinity focus retained and © is there any 645 modes or functions that are not available when using the P67 lenses?

Also any users out there - what are your experiences of using this set-up, will I feel the need to buy P645 lenses eventually if I really get to like the P645 camera over the P67?
