Might see if I have anything else to scan today. Our school (and many others in area) was cancelled today due to potential for severe weather. We're in the Torcon 9 range. My wife and I are boiling peanuts today.

Looking forward to seeing everyone's images.

Inspired by the recent "Your First Camera" and "First Film" threads, I spent a couple of hours yesterday re-scanning negatives from one of my first ever rolls of black and white film. The images are from an abandoned creamery that sat abandoned for many years in my hometown of Starkville, Mississippi and were taken in early 2005. Not long afterwards, the building was torn down. Thought I might share a few of the images here. Equipment was a Nikon F65 with the kit 28-80 zoom with Agfa APX 400 loaded. A Tiffen orange filter was used for some of the shots, but I don't remember which ones exactly.

Here are some from the Yashica FR I wearing the 50mm Carl Zeiss Planar T f/1.7 lens that I pictured recently in the "What camera are you using this weekend?" thread. It's a fine camera with a lens that lives up to it's great reputation. The film was Kentmere 100 developed in PMK Pyro.

Here are some from a Yashica 230-AF with the 28-85mm Yashica (Kyocera) f/3.5-4.5 lens. It's by no means my favourite camera, but the Kyocera lens is superb, probably the best short zoom I've owned, and since it's a unique mount I'm stuck with the camera. The film was Kentmere 100 developed in PMK Pyro.

We're off to a great start on this week's thread. Rick- the 28-85 range is a set of focal lengths I find very useful as a walking around lens. My first AF camera, A Maxxum 5000, was purchased (from family camera store) with the Maxxum 28-85 zoom. I also have the manual focus version in Minolta MD mount.
