W/NW 2021 Pic-O'-The-Week #11

Recommended Posts

So, a few shots from our trip to dubbo this last week for a friends birthday (30th) party. All happy snaps. With the monochrom. ramped up ISO. 75mm go to voigtlander (aka cosine) lens.

Here's the birthday woman - Samantha - you may have seen her before.

And her special friend, Guy. Both are beautiful people:

And a close family member:

And, finally, Sammy's mum and a friend:

It was a great time. They are beautiful people. Very special. We became stranded at dubbo - couldn't get back to home - with the Australian east coast floods. Some photos of that in the future. Regards, Arthur, apiarist1.

I've come back to this shot, allencobb. This is brilliant. But my heart sings: why vast, and impressive monuments to know our God, and I know that, to be honest, 'our God' may be many. Moslem, Hindu, Christian. Many. Nonetheless, I've come back to this shot. For a canon, and kodak, this is so good. I'm going to purloin this shot. Regards, Arthur

Well that didn't work did it? How can, allancobb, I download this? You may not want me to. It's a beautiful image. If you are agreeable, how can I get it?. Regards, Arthur

Hi Arthur, many thanks and it’s no problem!

It should be linked to my Flickr page so click/tap anywhere on the image and it should go there. Then in the lower right corner is a download arrow and you can choose your size. Let me know if it works ok, and if not we’ll figure out something else.

Thanks again for the kind words, good luck, and cheers, Allan
