Leica Q : Optimum Aperture

I assume by sharpness you mean a mixture of maximum resolution and maximum contrast. While I own neither, those factors, no matter which sensor you are using are determined solely by the lens. So, what you want to look up is the MTF chart for that lens. Having said that, I hate MTF charts and always run a test for each of my lenses bracketing f/stops from the widest aperture thru f/11.

Recently bought a Leica Q-P could anyone give me a guide to the optimum aperture for sharpness, on the Summilux 28mm f1.7 lens?
With all due respect, I don't understand your question. You have the camera, right? Set it up on a tripod and test it; then you'll have your answer (report the results back here if you really want).
