Tony Parsons
I would imagine the owner does - why not ask them ?

Tony Parsons
I don't know the owner Oh, OK. From such a small image, it is difficult to tell, I'm afraid. Since you took the photo, it seemed likely to me that the owner (or user) was a friend of yours.
John Seaman
Impossible to identify it from the picture, it could be almost any reasonably modern film SLR or digital SLR - with a battery grip fitted. If you post a full resolution picture or a crop of the camera itself, the maker might just become identifiable. This is the best I could do. BeBu Lamar
This one: http://www.mir.com.my/rb/photography/hardwares/classics/nikonf4/powersource/NikonF4snolens.jpg I think you're right. It's the F4S.
orsetto
Absolutely F4S: that accursed bottom battery case is unmistakable. The prism data strip, position of F logo, and characteristic placement of PC flash socket also help identify it.
Dieter Schaefer
Same thought as Niels, Bebu and orsetto here: F4S.
jim_gardner4
I will also say F4 but the battery pack looks bigger than the "s". Was there not an even bigger one? An "e"?
ben_hutcherson
I will also say F4 but the battery pack looks bigger than the "s". Was there not an even bigger one? An "e"? It looks like an "S" to me because the base appears to slope up at the end opposite the grip. Both the F4(plain) and F4e have flat bases. The F4s, which at least in the US is the most plentiful one, is the only one with the slope.
jim_gardner4
It was that joint/line about 1/2 inch from bottom right as we are looking at it that made me question S. I am looking at an F4s now at the same joint seems to be higher on this one.

But tell me, why is her face obscured?

glen_h
If her face wasn't obscured, then we could do facial recognition like on TV, and find out who she is, then ask about the camera. Then again, it doesn't work quite that well. But someone might know her. -- glen
Matthew Currie
It looks as if the strap says "D200." But the camera looks just like an F4. Aside from other characteristics, does any other model of that sort have the little plastic window above the Nikon name on the viewfinder?
Dieter Schaefer
does any other model of that sort have the little plastic window above the Nikon name on the viewfinder? The N8008/F801 models do, and the N90/F90 models do as well.
