ducthinhngo
Hi guys, I got a Minox but didn't like it much. Then I got an Edixa 16 MB however it has many problems: film door is hard to close, viewfinder has no coating, etc... After that I got another Edixa 16M in very good condition, but I heard the MB is more desirable because of the film door, will mine develop problem later and I should find another 16 MB instead of this M? MTC Photography
Edixa 16M , 16MB are technically identical, except the MB is a black model, looks better. Both has very sharp Schneider Xenar four element lens. Both model has lever type film chamber lock, which is easier to operate then the disk type lock of Edixa 16 I have two Edixa 16MB with leather case

But my 16M has disk type lock and not the lever type of the 16MB. Will this one give me problem later rather than it is hard to turn with fingernails? MTC Photography
If you turn the disc lock all the way until it stop, there should be no problem. The problem with disc lock is if you turn it half way it is not easy to see that it is not fully locked, Unlike lever type of lock, it is easy to see whether it is fully locked

Thank you very much for your help.
